NABJ: Look Book

The National Association of Black Journalists chapter at the University of Oregon focused on capturing the essence and the diverse beauty found in community. With a student run and created website named www.wethecookout.com, NABJ was able to produce and showcase content ranging from podcast about interracial dating to fashion look books about everyday streetwear.

I had the opportunity to put my love for fashion by being a part of the basketball jersey look book.  For this project I helped take lead with Fars Woldai by determing the day of shoot, booking one of the photographers, modeling and creating the layout for the look book.

The content has yet to be released on the website, but once it has the link will be available here.

NABJ: Thrift Shop

As a way to highlight recyclable fashion, we came up with a fun way to show how easy it to find affordable,  edgy, ready-to-wear garments at a local thrift store.

In the video I model, but also behind the scenes I assisted in styling.
